S’Hort Gran d’es Palmer is a stunning, 300 year-old, lovingly-converted farmhouse surrounded by 7 hectares of olive groves and fields. This tranquil house is a former boutique hotel, situated near the famous es Trenc beach and the charming village of Santanyi.
S’hort is an exquisite country estate, decorated simply and minimally, to best reflect the serenity of the Mallorcan countryside. We can comfortably sleep 16 people. We have 7 ensuite bedrooms plus an independent apartment with separate bathroom, living room and kitchenette. Maid service is included five days a week. A full-time gardener and concierge live on premises.
All the ground floor bedrooms face the garden. Shutters open to allow a crosscurrent, though fans are available for comfortable sleeping throughout the summer. All of the first story farmhouse bedrooms, including the master suite, have air conditioning.

Large poolside open-air covered porch (75 m2) with 2 seating areas and an enormous dining area that can fit up to 30 people. The courtyard is built for capacity and can be arranged for dinner under the stars.

This historic farmhouse was exquisitely renovated. We took great care to incorporate the 300 year-old arches and unique farmhouse touches throughout the renovation. There is an indoor dining room (50 m2), an expansive living room with a gas fireplace, music system, and original stone walls, and an ancient, vaulted stone ceiling lounge area with a flat-screen TV (Spanish channels and an HDMI input for easy connections).
Amenities include a state-of-the-art Gaggenau kitchen, washer & dryer, a swimming pool, petanque court, ping pong, Wi-Fi in living areas, plus a fire pit with seating in the herb garden.

Location
Southern Mallorca is the non-touristy corner of the island and is a paradise for many sports; biking, golfing, windsurfing, sailing, lovely walks, snorkelling, scuba and deep water soloing (free-style rock climbing over blue-green coves).
We are a quick drive, bike, or run from es Trenc, the rocky coves of Cala s’Almunia, and the restaurants of Ses Salines.
The GR221 hiking trail runs for 80 kilometers through the Serra de Tramuntana on the northwest coast of the island.
